Measures at promotion level

A written agreement between doctoral candidates and supervisors in which the tasks, rights and obligations of all parties involved are set out creates transparency and promotes responsible supervision.

Regular reports on the progress of the doctorate to the supervisors not only promote exchange, but also ensure that the research work is always documented and reflected upon.

Transparent communication: Regular meetings and consultations with supervisors and other doctoral candidates enable open communication and prevent misunderstandings or discrepancies in the implementation of the GSP.

Supervisors, who themselves should adhere to the principles of the GSP in an exemplary manner in order to set an example of correct scientific behavior for their doctoral candidates.

Person of trust: Appointment of an ombudsperson within the department to whom doctoral candidates can turn in the event of uncertainties or problems regarding compliance with the GSP.
